Video Conferencing

Zoapi is a global wireless presentation and collaboration solution provider for enterprise companies, co-working spaces, and education centers.

We have observed how expeditiously employees around the world have shifted from working in offices to working from home over the past few weeks. Our team of experts at Zoapi has collected and analyzed data on meeting room usage, country-by-country, over a period of one year before the coronavirus outbreak.

By evaluating the meeting room usage from the past 52 weeks, we are able to see the growing deployments (shown in orange) are accelerating exponentially, pre-coronavirus outbreak period.

The dips represent weekends. The envelop dips represent major holidays like Diwali, Christmas, etc. With many countries imposing nationwide lockdown to fight the spread of the virus and flatten the curve, we are expecting to see a similar dip during these unprecedented times, with the exception of video conferencing usage, which is expected to grow.

The CDC has suggested that remote work can reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19. As a result the employees of many organizations are working from their homes, and are extensively relying on video conferencing systems and applications to connect and collaborate efficiently with others. We are expecting to see the rise of video conferencing utilization with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, BlueJeans and other VC apps during this period.

According to Berstein Research, video conferencing service Zoom , has added 2.22 million monthly active users in 2020 so far, compared to 1.99 million in 2019. This just goes to show that people across the world stuck indoors as the coronavirus spreads, are turning to video calls to communicate with colleagues, classmates and customers.

We hope that this data offers you an insight and perspective of how companies and organizations around the world are driving through efforts to stem the spread of the COVID 19. We will continue to track utilization and share the data for providing visibility into usage trends as we observe it.

At Zoapi we prioritize to support our customers during this difficult period with reliable, enterprise-grade video conferencing app support to let you host video calls without any hassle.
