About the role:

Zoapi is seeking a Business Development Manager (Audio Visual) to help lead its sales efforts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The successful candidate will be diligent with a proven track record in sales in the Audio Visual industry. He/she will be responsible for building relationships with channel partners, customers, distributors and allied OEMs across the region, demonstrating Zoapi products to partners and end customers, understanding customer requirements, and driving techno commercial discussions and sales closures. The ideal candidate should be self driven, self motivated, and capable of managing regional business growth independently.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Add and develop new AV partners and system integrators within the Zoapi ecosystem.
  2. Build strong relationships with channel partners, customers, consultants, and allied OEMs.
  3. Demonstrate Zoapi products and solutions to partners and end customers.
  4. Understand customer requirements and drive techno commercial discussions, proposals, and closures.
  5. Coordinate internally and externally for demos, POCs, deployments, and project execution.
  6. Drive business development through lead generation, prospecting, renewals, and repeat opportunities.
  7. Execute the regional sales plan by selling hardware, software, and AMC offerings.
  8. Increase Zoapi brand awareness and presence within the AV channel ecosystem.
  9. Travel regularly to meet customers and partners, attend industry events, and provide sales forecasts and market feedback to management.

Qualifications:

  1. College/University degree.
  2. 4-10 years of field sales experience in Audio-Visual products
  3. Able to communicate effectively with customers, distributors, partners, and consultants.
  4. Proven demonstration skills with technical products
  5. Self-motivated with a proven track record of generating successful sales.
  6. Demonstrates good sales hygiene.
  7. Ability to take on a multitude of tasks, assignments, and responsibilities.
  8. Goal-oriented, with a desire for overachievement.
  9. Passion to work in startup environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with an AV Partner/Distributor/OEM
  2. Experience with Sales/Technical capacity with Video Conferencing Products
  3. Possesses a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
