Known Issues #
- [ALWAYS] MS Teams (New) – will not run as Guest User. Changing the setting from the dashboard does nothing.
- [ALWAYS] All newly installed apps are always pinned to the taskbar. They can be removed from settings
- [SOMETIMES] Miracast connections might randomly fail
- [ALWAYS] Miracast only works with Wifi Direct (i.e Infrastructure mode is not supported)
- [ALWAYS] Enabling “Allow Screen Lock” setting when the group policy: “Interactive logon: Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL” is set to disabled, might not allow the user to sign in to the system
- [SOMETIMES]Â Zoapi Client on Mac may show ‘0’ as the username, first time after installing
- [SOMETIMES] Glitches are heard for 1-2 seconds when switching to a presenter that’s playing audio
- [RARE] HDMI audio is not heard even though the HDMI input is configured. Occurs when there are issues with driver detection. Removing and plugging the capture card again usually resolves the issue
- [SOMETIMES] Closing a macbook lid, without disconnecting from Zoapi, might take upto a minute to remove the screen from the Zoapi Hub display
- [ALWAYS] When reconnecting after a connection loss – the screen becomes blank till the connection is established
- [ALWAYS] When there is no network connection, or when the Zoapi App is reconnecting, pressing leave might take some time to exit the application
- [SOMETIMES] The screen grab shown when a user pauses their screen share might change to a newer screen grab when their network reconnects
- [ALWAYS] Trying to share screen by entering the IP address of the device on the browser page – does not work
- [ALWAYS] Opening conferencing apps like Zoom, Teams, Chime etc from the calendar when the application is not installed will open the meeting in the browser
- [RARE] On screenshare a blank screen might appear. Stopping and starting screen share will usually work
- [ALWAYS] On changing calendar from the dashboard, a cleanup is required for the new calendar to start reflecting on the Hub
- [SOMETIMES] Random failures while connecting from the browser (depending on the network configuration)
- [ALWAYS] Incoming stream from remote with Dual display does not appear on secondary display on Windows LTSC2019 based devices
- [ALWAYS] On Mac Client clicking on the “Need Help” link does nothing
