Interactive displays bring a seamless and intuitive experience to meeting rooms by allowing users to join and control video conferences directly on the touch-enabled screen. With Zoapi Hub integrated into the interactive display, you can start meetings with One-Click Join, launch apps manually, and switch presenters effortlessly.

To use Zoapi with an interactive display, ensure the following:

  • A Zoapi Hub connected to the interactive display
  • A Premium License for access to advanced conferencing features
  • Touchscreen-enabled interactive display
  • Room calendar integration (for scheduled meetings)

1.One-Click Join – For Scheduled Meetings #

One-Click Join lets you start a scheduled meeting with just a tap on the interactive display.

2.1 Steps to use one-click join #
  1. On the interactive display home screen, locate the meeting you want to join and click Join. The meeting will launch on the Zoapi Hub, utilizing the room’s camera and audio system.

  2. If joining Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet,
    • Meeting controls (Mic, Video, and Disconnect) will be available on the bottom of the screen. You can directly interact with the app using the interactive display
    • Any shared screen (via Zoapi App, Miracast, or AirPlay) will automatically be shared with remote participants.

  3. If joining other conferencing platforms, use the interactive display to control the conferencing app.

2. Manual Launch – For Ad-Hoc Meetings #

If your meeting is not pre-scheduled, you can manually start a video call using the interactive display. You can launch any video conferencing app or third party app.

2.1 Steps to use Manual Launch: #
  1. Launch the app from the interactive homescreen. Tap on the “Apps” button if you can’t find the app on homescreen

  2. Select the video conferencing app (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.) or any third-party app you want to use
  3. Enter the meeting details (Meeting ID & Password) using the on-screen keyboard. On Screen keyboard can be opened from the home screen or bottom bar

  4. Use the display’s touch controls to manage the call.

3. Presenter Switch #

During a meeting, different users may need to share their screens. The Presenter Switch feature allows seamless transitions between presenters without ending or disrupting the meeting through the Room Controller.

3.1 Steps to Switch Presenters #
  1. Ensure the presenters is connected and sharing to Zoapi Hub via the Zoapi App, Miracast, or AirPlay.
  2. Open the the Meeting Settings either from homescreen or from the bottom bar

  3. You can switch between Single View or Grid View if more than one presenters are presenting
