Zoapi Hub’s multi-VC video conferencing feature allows seamless access to any video conferencing platform. The Cross-Launch feature lets you instantly join meetings on Zoapi Hub using a meeting link—directly from your personal device.
Powered by Zoapi’s Bring Your Own Interface (BYOI) technology, Cross-Launch enables users to remotely launch, and control video calls on Zoapi Hub using just a meeting link.
This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough on using Cross-Launch via the Zoapi Desktop App, Browser App, or Mobile App.
Beyond video calls, Cross-Launch also allows you to open web links such as YouTube, cloud documents, and presentations, making it a versatile tool for collaboration.
Note: Cross-Launch requires Remote and Weblink settings to be enabled on the Zoapi Hub. If these options are unavailable, contact your IT team to configure them.
Steps to Join Video Conferencing with Cross Launch: #
- Connect to Zoapi Hub on your laptop or mobile using the Desktop App, Browser App, or Mobile App by entering the Zoapi Code displayed on the screen.
Ensure your device is on the same network as the Zoapi Hub. If you face connection issues, refer to our guide on Screen Sharing Using Desktop App, Browser App, and Mobile App.
- Open Weblink/Launch Adhoc Links options from Apps/Calendar tab as show below
- Paste the meeting link (or any web link such as YouTube or a cloud document). Click Launch/Open to launch the link on the Zoapi Hub.
- If joining Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet,
- You will get meeting controls (Mic, Video, and Disconnect) directly on the Zoapi App.
- Any shared screen (via Zoapi App, Miracast, or AirPlay) will automatically be shared with remote participants.
- If you wish to do more with the meeting, you can always use the Remote option to control the Zoapi Hub.
- If joining other conferencing platforms or other links, Use Zoapi’s Remote Feature from the Apps menu to control the meeting and manage screen sharing manually. Use Alt+Tab (Win) / Command+Tab (Mac) / Esc to exit Remote mode.
