Frequently Asked Questions: #

1. Why does a call run while sharing the screen?
Screen sharing requires Zoapi to establish a call-like session. Disconnecting this call will stop screen sharing and disconnect from the Zoapi Hub.

2. Does the Zoapi Mobile App support audio sharing?
Yes, it supports both screen and audio sharing.

3. Can I use my phone in landscape mode?
Yes, you can rotate your phone, and Zoapi will automatically adjust the shared screen accordingly.

4. My mobile app fails to connect even though I am on the same network. What should I do?

  • In rare cases, the app may have a temporary issue. Close the app from recently opened apps and restart it.
  • Ensure that your mobile device and Zoapi Hub are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • If issues persist, restart your Wi-Fi or disable battery saver mode.

5. Why is my screen black or paused when sharing?
Some apps restrict screen sharing (e.g., Netflix, Disney+, and other DRM-protected apps).

6. Why is there a delay in my screen sharing?

  • Network congestion or a weak Wi-Fi signal can introduce latency.
  • For the best experience, use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network instead of 2.4GHz.

7. Why can’t I find the Zoapi Mobile App on my App Store?
The app may not be available in certain regions. Try switching your App Store region or check if your device is compatible.
