1. A new instructions button has been added to the taskbar. Clicking on this will popup a window containing the usage instructions. This way instructions are available while screen share is happening and also the wallpaper can be changed to show something else.

16. Improved responsiveness of all the zoapi application buttons – will reduce hangs and crashes
17. When Zoapi Hub determines that a meeting has ended (1 minute after the last user has disconnected), Zoapi Hub will show an “updating” message and update the pin. Earlier the older pin was not hidden and any user connecting at this time would get an error.
18. Improvements to Zoapi App connection speed. After entering the pin, the app would countdown to 50%, vanish and reappear after a small delay. This delay has been reduced as well as the time taken to connect has been optimized.
19. Usernames in the Presenters list are aligned
20. On every restart, Zoapi Hub would reset the volume to 90%. It will no longer do so. Volume level will remain at the previously configured value

Bug-Fixes: #

1. Browser sharing –after multiple connections in a short period of time, new users would be refused connection for a few minutes
2. Whitespaces in the paths in sideload list entries would fail to appear in the apps list, or fail to run
3. Opening windows settings would momentarily hang at times
4. In some cases, when the HDMI display is changed, resolution switch does not occur
5. VC Apps were not occupying the full screen area (leaving a strip at the bottom)
6. When user would share screen – application would become unresponsive till content on the screen would appear
7. Some Zoom meeting links would not work with Zoom Controls
8. Resolved issues with weblink parsing which would cause failures in detecting meeting types
9. Apps list would disappear at times. Apps would need reinstalling in such cases
10. When a user’s laptop would lose network connection and reconnect, their audio share would stop
11. Stop Sharing Screen after Pausing would not work
12. The first user who would connect to the Zoapi Hub – would appear unselected in the Presenter’s list in the Zoapi App
13. Some users in the Presenter’s list even though not sharing – would appear clickable
14. Latency can build up during screen share if the TV/Display properties are not configured properly or have become corrupt. Zoapi Hub will try to detect these corruptions and try to recover from them.
15. Trying to leave while the application was reconnecting would sometimes cause a crash

1. Port Forwarding Support – An IP address can be set as a port-forwarded address and clients will be able to use this address while connecting to the Zoapi Hub

3. Using Windows 10 default wifi connection menu for connecting to wifi. You will see the old menu only if you have already configured a wifi network through it. You can disable this setting and just use the Windows Menu setting instead.

5. While Zoapi Hub is running – Windows 10 notifications will be turned to a minimum so as to not disturb users during meetings

1. Kiosk Mode Updates:

The entire Kiosk mode has been revamped to allow for a closer to Windows Experience. This results in much more consistent application behavior, and fewer issues. It also works well with newer versions of Windows 10 (21H1) and Windows 11. The new Kiosk mode involves following improvements:

• • Windows shell is automatically started everytime.
  • Under Settings > Wifi > Windows Wifi Config will open the regular windows wifi network connections menu. This can be used instead of the regular Zoapi Wifi menu, especially if your network connection/authentication did not work with the legacy connection mode.
  • Under Settings > Device: new Windows Settings option has been added. This will open the Windows 10 settings menu.
  • Under Settings > Device: Option to Allow Auto start of applications added. These are the default applications that are configured to automatically run on startup (through windows).

2. Web Sharing support (Beta):
   • Visit https://share.zoapi.com/web on supported browsers to share your screen.
   • Audio sharing is available if the browser/system supports it.
3. Screen-share quality improvements
   • Optimization of Bandwidth adaptation routines to reduce latency and startup delay.
   • On changing screen share layouts, some paused streams would not appear correctly scaled.
4. Office 365 Calendar Integration Improvements
   • Only lists calendars and room resources that have already been delegated to the user account.
   • Allow integration of user accounts.
5. New settings in Dashboard:
   • Enable/Disable 4K (Not applicable for Basic devices).
   • Enable/Disable Auto start of applications.
   • Enable/Disable Temporary Teams Sessions.
6. Annotation Improvements:
   • Erase button works as On/Off button.
   • Cursor changes to colored pointer in pencil mode.
7. 4K is enabled for Entry and Lite licenses.
8. Increased width of Zoapi Client shortcut so that text appears cleaner.
9. Room Scheduler
   • Reduced number of activate/deactivate errors.
   • Reduced requirement for frequent re-integration with the Office 365 calendar.
   • Pin watermark has been made darker: When a user shares screen or an application is being used, the Pin is shown as a watermark. This watermark was very faint and difficult to read. This has been made darker.

1. Touchscreen events were not being detected in the center of the screen. This has now been fixed
2. Annotation – Annotation would randomly draw straight lines between points instead of curves
3. Annotation – Pressing Clear was clearing the undo/redo stack. User could not revert from a clear. This will no longer happen and the user will be able to use undo and redo even after pressing clear
